Hi! I’m Lauren and I’ve worked at Cherrydown Vets as a Client Care Assistant since September 2023.

I have an honours degree in Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare and prior to joining the Cherrydown team, I worked in retail and volunteered for South Essex Wildlife Hospital, animal sanctuaries and an overseas dog rescue as a home checker, fosterer and part of their behaviour advice team. I find my job here incredibly rewarding and I love seeing patients leave us happy and healthy.

I have a passion for canine behaviour and welfare with a special interest in anxiety and aggression. I spend my free time completing further research into animal behaviour as well as training and walking my two rescued shepherd mixes, Rudi and Molly, and spending time with my lovely snake Bruce.
